Ch Enigma Jack Rabbit Slim's of Penzance "Mia" will be bred to Ch Racecity Sound of the Serengetti at Penzance "Geti" in February 2010.

Mia is a lovely orange and white Rita (CH Penzance Enigma Hurricane Rita) daughter from an AI breeding to English Show Champion Manchela Innuendo. We are very pleased with Mia and her littermates, Meri and Widget. Mia and her brother Widget finished their Championships on the same day both with 5 point majors and Best of Breed wins. Mia also has a Puppy Group 1 win and was Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2009 Pointer Associates of New England (PANE) Specialty. Meri finished a few months earlier with 4 majors including a Winners Bitch and an Award Of Merit at the 2009 PANE Specialty over more than 20 specials. Meri also won Best in Futurity at the National Specialty. Meri is very fortunate to live with Rachel Ertle a wonderful Junior handler who finished the year as #3 Pointer Junior and a top 20 overall Junior.

Ch Racecity Sound of the Serengetti at Penzance "Geti" is a handsome black and white boy out of Harriet (CH Penzance Harriet the Spy O'Kinnike JH) and Nexus (Pawprint Connection), the boy we imported from Marianne Gyarfas (Saregresi Kennels) and Julia Pataki (Pawprint Kennels) of Hungary. Nexus brought us lovely type, extraordinarily sound movement and loads of front and rear angle which he seems to be passing on to his kids and grandkids. Geti easily finished his championship at the age of 10 months with several BOB wins. He also won Best in Sweepstakes at Maryland Sporting Dog Club in 2009. He has also competed in field trials and hunt tests with great results. Geti’s littermates have seen great success as well. Cady finished her Junior Hunter title in four straight tests with high scores. Simon won his class at the 2009 American Pointer Club National Specialty and Lyric was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best Bred By Exhibitor under renowned breeder Judge Paula Nykiel making her the fourth National Specialty Winners Bitch bred by Penzance in the past seven years.

Both Geti and Mia have had their hips xrayed. Geti is OFA Excellent and Mia is free of HD per the board certified radiologists at Tufts Cummings School. She is not quite old enough to submit films to OFA.
